Upcoming FireSmart Events in Pineridge
Wood Chipping Day - May 20, 2025
After the May long weekend, Pineridge residents can pile up eligible branches, small trees, and woody debris in front of their properties for free chipping and removal. This is a great way to clear potential fire fuel early in the season. Please ensure all wood is stacked with butt ends facing the street, and follow the provided guidelines for accepted materials.
✅ Allowed:
Green or dead coniferous branches
Small trees and woody debris (under 5” in diameter)
Dead deciduous branches
🚫 Not Allowed:
Treated lumber, painted wood, nails, or roots
Tree stumps
Grass, leaves, or bagged materials
Even one prohibited item will disqualify the entire pile from pickup, so be sure to check the criteria before stacking!
Community Clean-Up & Summer BBQ
Later this summer, we’ll be gathering for a fun, family-friendly cleanup day and community BBQ. It’s a chance to help tidy our shared spaces and enjoy some great food and company. Watch for updates on our social media and Pineridge events page.
