Invermere Film Festival 2026
The Invermere Film Festival is an annual celebration of cinema that brings together film lovers, storytellers, and the local community in the heart of the Columbia Valley. The festival returns to the Columbia Valley Centre in Invermere, BC, from Thursday, January 29 to Sunday, February 1, 2026, offering four days of inspiring films, engaging discussions, and community connection.
Now in its seventh year, the Invermere Film Festival has become a beloved cultural highlight in Invermere. As a not-for-profit organization and registered charity, the festival is dedicated to enriching the cultural life of the Columbia Valley while supporting arts, tourism, and year-round community engagement.
Festival attendees can expect a thoughtfully curated lineup of independent, documentary, Canadian, and international films. Screenings explore a wide range of themes, including adventure, environment, culture, and the human experience. Select screenings may also include filmmaker Q&A sessions, special presentations, and opportunities to connect with fellow film enthusiasts in an intimate and welcoming setting.
